Processed data:

  • IP address: We record the IP address of your computer, as well as the client´s file request (file name and URL), the http response code, and the internet page from which you were directed to our website.
  • Cookies: Our internet sites use cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your computer and in your browser. The cookies used by us do not harm your computer. The purpose of cookies is to make our website more user friendly, more effective, and more secure. Most of the cookies used by us are so-called “session cookies”. Other cookies will remain saved on your device until you delete them. Such cookies enable us to recognise your browser at your next visit.

  • Notice regarding social media network buttons: Some of our sites contain buttons of social media networks (Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, Google+, Xing) which enable you to share our content with others. Here we have installed a particular Plugin (Shariff) which ensures that your IP address is not immediately transferred to the particular social media provider when you visit our website; instead, the IP address of our own server is transmitted. Your IP address is only transferred to the social network once you actively press the share button.
  • Form entries: Insofar as you make entries into our website forms for electronic transmission to Robotron, we will process the information as entered into the form. This regards in particular the contact form, or the course registration form.


Notice regarding use of Google Analytics:

Our website uses functionalities of the web analysis tool Google Analytics which is provided by Google Inc., USA. Google Analytics uses cookies. These are text files that are stored on your computer, enabling an analysis of your website visit. The information generated by the cookie regarding your website use will normally be transferred to and stored on a server of Google in the USA. For this purpose we have concluded a contract for commissioned data processing with Google.

Your IP address will be shortened before it is transferred to Google. Google will use this information in order to evaluate the website use, to generate reports on the website activity, or to provide further services related to the website or internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the use of Google Analytics will not be combined with other data of Google.

You may disable the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser settings; however, please note that a deactivation of cookies may reduce the functionality of our website. You may also disable the recording of data generated by the cookie and referring to your website use (incl. IP address) by Google, as well as the processing of such data by Google, by installing a browser plugin which may be downloaded under the following link: .

Purpose of processing the personal data:

The collected data will be used for the purpose of optimising our website provision, in particular for the purpose of making our website more user friendly, more effective, and more secure.

Data collected through submission of our website forms (in particular by use of the contact form, or the course registration form) will be processed for the particular purpose of the respective form (e.g. regarding the contact form for making contact, regarding the course registration form for performing the relevant contract).

With regard to newsletters, the collected data will be used for the purpose of making our information more user friendly and effective.


Storage period:

The personal data will be processed and stored as long as this is required for the particular lawful purpose. Insofar as legal retention periods apply, the data will be stored for that period.

-    the right to request rectification of the personal data (Art. 16 GDPR)
-    the right to request erasure of personal data (Art. 17 GDPR)

-    the right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
-    insofar as the processing is based on your consent: the right to withdraw consent at any time
