The solution for managing large collections
robotron*Daphne is the innovative collection database solution for capturing and managing large collections. By using special data records and/or new object categories, robotron*Daphne can be easily expanded module by module. Masks for the object categories "interviews", "works", "productions" and "performances" for theatres and operas, as well as numerous other special data records (e.g. for numismatic, geological and ethnographic collections) are already available.
The data recorded with the robotron*Daphne collection management system forms the basis for a presentation on the Internet with robotron*Daphne-Collection. The web audience is also actively involved in the online presentation. For example, they can use a comment function to provide the cultural institution with interesting information about the object. This data is then processed further in robotron*Daphne.
