Application of robotron*Daphne in GDR provenance research

In 2008, the Federal State of Saxony and Robotron developed a unique software solution that not only serves as a collection database, but can also be optimized to be used for provenance research as a highly demanding task. robotron*Daphne succeeded in comprehensively tying up resources and providing conclusive statements on the provenance of art or cultural objects.

Even more than a decade after the start of the project, provenance researchers of Saxon museums and exhibitions rely on the support of robotron*Daphne for their research.
